Frozen Rails?
Frozen Rails is Finland's only Ruby and Ruby on Rails conference, as well as one of Europe's top Ruby conferences. For the third year running, Frozen Rails will see top speakers from around the world arrive in Helsinki to speak to a diverse audience of top notch web developers from Finland and abroad.
New in 2012
This year we're aiming for a more ecological and less wasteful conference, so we're going to try and minimise the amount of paper waste we generate (for example our plan is to replace the printed programme booklet with electronic versions). We'd also like to encourage you, as a sponsor, to only give out durable and good quality swag and gifts (if you want to give out anything at all). Bonus points for giving out organic or fair trade goods!
We're also focusing on giving the sponsors more visibility at the venue, so expect to see a lot more posters and banners with your logo on them!
This year sponsors are also shown more prominently on every page of the website.
Attendance
This year we're expecting over 200 attendees. Note that these are high quality attendees. We care as much about the quality of our audience as we do about the quality of our speakers, which is why we offer deals such as discounts for Rails contributors.
